Rustic Rustic Rustic

For Christmas, I made Jennifer a shelf with a dragon fly accent out of old barnwood and square nails.  It is solid wood and couldn't be any more rustic with how beautiful the boards are and being held together with square nails.  I also made her a cabinet out of over 100 year old barnwoon with a droor and doors on the lower section with a few shelves.  I used broken boards for the upper shelves that add dept and character and if you look at the back...it is not all the way filled in.  Cool look!  Here is also a 6' long table and benches that went to Michelle who raises special needs children and was an honor to meet when she picked it up!  The barnwood box was picked up by John, who is using it in his wedding to hold a wine bottle and 2 wine glasses.  I used old rusty rustic nails and glue to hold it all together and got the lid to fit tight.  The barnwood picture frame was custom made for Stan, who is putting a picture of a Native American in it to give to a 70 year old retiring boy scout leader.
